Uhh Kenny we would like the following a pacey right winger with a half decent finish and a back of the net smashing striker/monster please.....
Splash the cash.......(preferably this January)
Your ever loyal fans....
Fact is Henry will not let Kenny waste any more money on what he thinks are good buys but which in three cases has been huge overspend on mediocrity. He will have to sell to buy which probably means Kuyt, Maxi and possibly Carroll, Shelvey and Spearing. LFC are still paying most of Cole and Aquilani's wages. There is no European money of any sort coming in. Even a Carling Cup win brings in peanuts. No larger or new stadium and strong possibility of no Champions League money next season. there's NO MORE MONEY to waste. LFC stagnating while Spurs have left us behind.

There is 12M (maybe 13?) in the pocket from the last minute sale of Meireles and Aquilani has played the amount of games in the deal to trigger his sale to Milan at the end of the year, and we have no way to quantify the sales/salaries saved in Degen, El Zahr, Poulsen, Kyrgiakos, Konchesky, and a few I'm missing. But, again there's money and Henry and Kenny have said they have the option to buy and add if they'd like to..
I think the next buy, or next few buys should be Comolli buys. He had a superb track record at Spurs - Bale, Ekotto, and plenty more before having a fall out with Harry. Comolli has all the connections in France, and an eye for top EUROPEAN talent, not just British..
To play with Europe's elite, you must have Europe's elite, and outside of our back 5, Gerrard and Suarez, we're miles apart from the teams in front including Newcastle at the moment, with shrewd but superb signings in Demba Ba, Cabaye, and flashes from Ben Arfa ..
Look at the missing players from the 08/09 team vs the replacements now minus Enrique, and this pales in comparison. Now just imagine if Kenny were managing that squad?
