Interesting. How did you get hold of the private information that they didn't want Dalglish? Why did they give him a 2 year contract when they could have easily kept him on a week to week basis?
Either way we are where we are and yes I agree that the scale of rebuilding the club is far larger than many think. There are far too many people (myself included to a point) that want the club to go back or carry on with the same ideas as there were in the 70's and 80's. Many of them are no longer relevant in today's game but some, I would say, are critical to retaining Liverpools identity as a football club. For me that does not include Anfield. Furthermore to take the club forward there must be some form of overhaul at every level / position within the business.
Perhaps Kenny's not the right person. Thankfully that decision is not up to me but I would say that the club needs to be extremely careful on the next appointment. It's pointless putting someone in with a 2 year plan and leaves with a healthy bank balance while the club remains directionless.
I suppose I've come full circle. I still think that selling is not logical (not impossible) but they are here to look at things very closely. There's every chance there will be changes but surely not before the Summer.
