1) will he get credit for today's team selection and tactics?
2) Will you give him credit for bringing in Sturridge and linking him with Luis?
3) Will you acknowledge that overall, we are doing well?
You know who this is addressed to, but obviously anyone's view is welcome.
Apparently Rafa had been interested in Sturridge before he moved from City, so no credit there, especially not when spending 12M in comparison to 35M for "Mr. will come good"
The tactics were drawn up by Pep Guardiola who is still on holiday despite signing for Bayern, and since Rodgers speaks Spanish and studies Barcelona, Pep drew up today's plan as a small holiday gesture, since he wasn't interested in taking Brendan's job..
And, no, we are not doing well. I was disgusted with today's performance, especially at Anfield, it was simply not good enough.. We can only beat teams lower than us, despite the fact these same teams all came to Anfield and beat us last year, a couple of which, actually doubled us up..
Please stop trying to focus on good things and be supportive, you are not helping the cause for when Jose Mourinho reads these blogs before considering moving to LFC this summer..

So we beat a club whose not really in our class 5 - 0.
Yet we can't seem to beat clubs above us as quite rightly say..
Although we used to struggle against these average sides in yrs gone by.
I still think Luis & Sturridge should be used together from the start.. Hown else are they gonna be our strike duo if they don't play together in matches.. from ther kickoff to the final whilstle.

Ok Armchair. Tell us all how you think it should be done. I want to read how new owners would change the fortune and direction we're going. Then I also want to hear how a new manager would propel us to PL glory year after year.
I want to read how long you think it would take and how much money would be needed to buy the club, build a new stadium or refurbish Anfield (your choice) and then buy the new players that you're talking about. And after all of that tell us how you can make the club generate enough money to afford it!
Lots of questions there. Get typing
Colin, seriously I don't know whether to shout at you or give up with you. It's how quite a few people have felt about Armchair at times.
Let me try shouting a bit: YOU'RE NOT FUCKING LISTENING!
I've told you several times that if you read the report you would discover that the case does not depend on the meaning of the word "Negrito". It could mean "cocoa cola" or "tampon" or "space alien" and it would make fuck all difference to whether Suarez was guilty or innocent. Nobody is arguing with you about what you claim "Negrito" means, so keeping trotting that out makes no difference.
AS YOU WOULD KNOW IF YOU READ THE FA REPORT.
I'm not going to go on with this much more as it *is* a waste of my time and energy to keep banging my head against your brick wall. But I have two questions for you:
1. If a black person asked John Terry why he kicked them and JT replied "because you are black?" would you say that John Terry had racially abused the other person?
2. You tell me you have an English degree. When you sat your exams, had you read any of the books or did you just turn up and expect to bluff your way through?
robert m ps adopting a confrontational stance on the board of a team other than u own to me is the epitomy of THE KEYBOARD WARRIOR always ready to provoke ...at least back in the 60ies and 70ies we all provoked each other for real on the terraces and other battle sites ..what I cant understand is why someone u age would want to adopt that same kind of stance on an opposition clubs board today in 2013 ?
What might help u cause on this board would be an injection of humour into u some of u posts ...u probably arent aware of the fact but a bit of subtle humour goes down very well on Merseyside and also withthe World Wide Scouse Diaspora
Bobby, don't worry, I got this ..
A- How dare you!?!
B- How dare you?!!
C- Only pick statistics, time periods, figures, and trends that suit Chelsea when speaking about Chelsea on the Chelsea Board! Otherwise, we'll never be able to speak about Chelsea again!!
D - How dare you!!!
Many thanks for the reply Armchair. I think part of the problem is that you don't fully understand the sheer scale of the numbers involved.
Lets look at a really rough and ready 5 year upgrade plan
Firstly a new stadium is £400m MINIMUM. It will take 5 years to design and build.
In the meantime you want the Mourinho. Well that's probably a salary of £8m a year (£150k per week)
Players. Let say we get Cavani, Falcao and someone else valued at £50m each. Plus a few other transfers puts you up at £200m transfer kitty. Then they want paying at £150k per week. That's another £24m with say another £60m in wages for everyone else in the squad.
We'll also need other transfers over the next 4 years. Lets throw another £200m in there for that.
So for your first 5 years you will be spending:
£400m + £200m + (£24mx5) + (£60mx5) + (£8mx5) + £200 = £1,260,000,000.
Yup that's right £1.3 BILLION!!!!! and that's before we look after Anfield & Melwood for 5 years, pay all the other staff and alll the other things that go into running the club.
At the moment the club isn't making any real profit so throw those numbers in as well. IT JUST DOESN'T ADD UP.
Correct me if I'm wrong someone but doesn't Anfield generate £35m a year at the moment. That's based on £800//year per seat at 42k seats. (keeping it simple)
Over 5 years that's only £175m which is still way way short. Even adding in a stupid number like £50m per year for say TV money doesn't get you close.
Basically you're looking at someone throwing close on a Billion pounds in to the club to follow your plan. If you know anyone please let me know. I could do with a couple of quid myself right now.
robert m...I think the operative word used is "territory"...many moons ago as a teenager I was into the buzz of terrace culture and all that went with it inc sojourns to London and battles in pubs and elsewhere inc inside the grounds with opposition fans; many thousands were so inclined at a time whenh LFC could muster quite easily a 30,000 away following..now at age 63 Im a bit more "mellow" and far less confrontational let alone territorial.
As for speculating about "your life and achievements outside this place"...maybe some have I couldnt honestly say but all I can say in response is... why should or would it interest me ?
Robert, thank you for the clarification. I'm so glad you're here to correct everybody's little errors. I feel humbled by the presence of such a towering intellect.
Of course I know that, but did I say anything wrong? Seeing as we were talking in the context of the Premier League Title, I think it was a fair point. Next time you feel like correcting me, can you make sure I have made an error before you do? Thanks.
Robert m...Think Loki's sarcasm tends to speak volumes for his innate Scouse humour and wit whereas as he says ..quite rightly imo ...u seem to be censorial by nature and devoid of wit therefore incapable of sarcasm. Clearly u must know far more about u own club Chelski..or as Ive suggested before r u really the ultimate Manc Wind-Up artiste ?... so woudnt it make more sense to debate with other Blues fans...or Mancs ?... on u own board rather than on here where Im sure most could give a toss about what u do or dont think about OUR club.
We need extra revenue from somewhere to stay in touch with the likes of man U..
As it seems coming from you and others a new stadium isn't forthcoming, then whats the options in raising revenue?
We need better players right? Players who're able to get us up the league..
