"The vast majority of us on both sides are normal, decent people who happen to support two different clubs."
Very true. And where would we be without different clubs to play each other and compete for the league and other competitions?
If I ever meet any of the Lpool supporters on this board, it would be my pleasure to buy you a pint and have a post match chat.
I have no time for the morons who insult each other.
While not from that side of the pond, I can speak for a very large contingent over here who support LFC, but have a healthy respect for the rivalry and tragedies, but no time for the despicable and disgusting things said here, or god forbid at the matches/grounds. Well said on your part..
I will have to take you up on that offer of the pint! I'm hoping for my 2nd visit March/April, and since I've offered everyone here on the LFC side a pint, I could sure use one myself!
Cheers! And cheers to many more years of the best rivalry in football. Hopefully we'll be back neck and neck in the not to distant future! I'd be truly curious to see what Fergie would have to say to Brendan, if/when that time should come!
