Why should LFC be Rodgers guinea pig?

Loki...we are indeed Rogers guinea-pig...Ive been saying this for a long time, hes not a journeyman hes simply an apprentice hes had no success anywhere fed FSG a clever line of BS (3 hrs worth of it) in Boston and collared the job without any real credentials. He is nothing more than an apprentice with no new ideas and the problem of our inconsistency is due to his on the job mistakes as he learns his trade at the expense of our once great club. We need and I mean NEED to get this idea of making deities of our managers out of our minds and be realistic its this idea of blind loyalty to our manager that has taken us down the path to mediocrity. We NEED to bite the bullet now and start the process , well..FSG need to start the process of getting this guy Rogers down the road , and appointing a true journeyman manager one who is a disiplinarian that can instill some fire in the bellies of some of our far too comfortable squad...Someone who can inculcate a winning mentality until winning just becomes a habit. btw of topic but think we Must buy this keeper of Reading hes not going to stay there when they are in Championship Div...let Reina go to Arsenal and btw all the news today says Abramovitch doesnt want Morinho he wants Malagas Pelligrini so....anyone for JOSE...hes brought silmverware EVERYWHERE hes been ? This would be our big chance to land the man as he doesnt want to stay with Real.

    • I have two issues with Maureen Colin. yes he wins things but it's always a short term plan. At Liverpool the whole club from tea lady through the youth systems, scouts and finally the club management and 1st team needs remodelling. The 1st team manager is critical to that as it is that person that sets the footballing strategy.

Secondly I've never been a huge fan of his brand of football. I find his press conferences more entertaining.

      • Not only that he'd want, and need about £150 million to deliver short-term success. He wants the Man Utd job anyway. Even though he was a liverpool fan when younger he has said on the record that he would never manage us.

      • I think Rogers worked with Morinho at Chelski before didnt he..well if Morinho was to be appointed by FSG as our manager and won us The League Championship and sundry other silverware in short order I d have no objection at all to that..as far as Rogers is concerned he could continue his apprenticeship under Morinho's guidance...he has a contract so gets his wage so he should stay and learn and help out or more likely hed just stuff the comp in his back pocket chalk it down to 'experience' and be on his way looking to snow some other gullible owner withhis "Three Hour Presentation"
