I agree with your analysis of the Bullard deal, both the player and Fulham must be laughing all the way to the bank. Hodgson is a shrewd manager (I wish he was advising GS) and he wouldn't have let Bullard go unless he was getting a good price, which he has. As for Bullard, well he has £2.6m going into his account for the next four years until he is 35. By then, I suspect, his legs will have long gone. What worries me more is how a player like Watson can prevaricate about coming to Boro who, although are languishing in the wrong end of the division at the moment, are a young team who just need a better strategy and some imaginative coaching. Wigan play awful football but seem to offer better wages?
