I honestly think Zola missed a trick in his team selection. The focus should be Premier League SURVIVAL, not more games for his injury-plagued squad.
The Hammers are involved in a "RELEGATION DOGFIGHT" with no end in sight and yet Zola sent out his players to play out of their skins in 3rd round FA Cup when he could have rested his key players against fellow RELEGATION BATTLERS Wolves....... CLUELESS!
Which is most important, SURVIVAL or progression into the 4th round of the FA Cup with 50% chance of being KNOCKED OUT?
I know winning mentality breeds confidence in the side, but RESTING key players in meaningless competition (in Hammers' case the FA Cup should rank lower given the plight of your club right now) is worth its weight in gold.
If you fail to pick up all 3 points against Wolves in your forthcoming league game, all your physical exertion will have been waited on us...... Misplaced Priorities methinks, but others may differ. Opinions!
Well played Hammers... and good luck for the rest of the season BUT not when we HAMMER your sorry #$%$ silly at the Emirates in the league game.
