Charlton Athletic Message Board
On Motive Television*s co site, under "Conversation" of the above title and date, it stated, "Motive is ONE of the two or three co*s in the world with patented & deployed software to manage the delivery of on demand video using the OTA digital terrestrial signals. Motive*s Tablet TV can be CONFIGURED to work with add on separate tuners or SHOULD A MANUFACTURER INCLUDE A TUNER IN THEIR DEVICE DIRECTLY."
The rest of the conversation gives a good overview of the progress so far.
Take a look at the kiwi dollar too. Last month int rates dropped 1/4%, but still amongst the highest in the developed world. Lots of Japanese housewives are invested in it ( carry trade ), they will be looking to get out soon.
As an overview, 15 finance companies have collapsed in the last year and numerous others have frozen payouts. Recession is close, house prices teetering over a cliff. ( a couple earning 2 x average wage in Aukland can't afford a starter home - official ).
I expect further rate cuts and 1 pound / 2.95nz dollar around Oct.
That was the first time I'd ever posted, well now I've been called an idiot I won't need to bother again.
Who said there is no such thing as a stupid question, certainly not Paul.
I'd rather be an idiot than a w***er
B of E call the shots on this one now!! SHs will go to the wall if all other criteria are met... ie jobs maintained etc... If the SHs get more than £1 id be VERY surprised!! No value left in this company now! and what value there is is quickly draining away...

Assuming that NR is sold for a nominal sum, the brick and mortar value of the merged entity will be the mean value of their components' NAV-PS
In the case Branson wins, that would be 50% of current NAV-PS or 381.10p
That's roughly 100% gain over current price.
You are in denial - NRK fell about 10% last week - is that holding up? There may be falls in share price this week for banks generally but there won't be runs on banks like there was for NRK.
General banking crisis is terrible news for NRK SH - how are you going to refinance with money tightening further?
rocky being serious mate do you not think their at a low price now maybe i see a small decline but i do see some improvement in the coming days and i cant see the virgin bid getting the green light.?
rocko - i've been reading this board for the last coupla weeks or so, and although some of your threads have been rather emotionally charged, i agree with your outlook on this whole situation. i don't know if you have any hidden agenda or vested interests and ultimately, only time will tell as to the outcome on this saga. NR is a bank. banks are supposed to be safe. NR proved itself otherwise. forget the figures - it ultimately failed in its fundamental business and i don't think people are going to - or should - forget that. it has to be rebranded.
By the sounds of it, you should not be contributing to any form of personal pension (except I think perhaps £200 max gross per month to "Stakeholder") as you have no relevant earnings.
Write to the Pru and explain, asking for their assistance (and keep your fingers crossed that the AVC package you were sold does not carry any stupid penalties for ceasing contribution "early").
And the very best of good fortune with it all.
my view is that the sp prior to the agm may have been artrificially high by a few pence due to speculators hoping for good news/promising statement at the agm.
The statement wasnt bad news, but was slightly vague, and so created some uncertainty, and selling from the speculators.
There was a big drop, but the sp is probably artificially low. I expect it to recover to the 24p range. Until the price of oil and commodities fall and steady to a lower level, there will continue to be uncertainty over the future, and this will reflect in the sp.
have used them for 5+ years and have had no major probs with them. i started using their active trader system and prefer it over etrade. i do agree on a couple things you raised (ex. the application process) but overall happy with barclays.
Paul don't be lazy in future what is the point of that? too lazy to make money? you must be bundled mate, still plenty of time to BUY Encore, worth 70p Minimum all day long, don't want you saying you was too lazy again, i am not ramping this, just trying to make people make some more money instead of losing money, you can all thank me in a weeks time & send donations as well, LOL
Tush 888 are definitely a take over target, but Directors need to start selling off their majority stake before major players like PRTY or even BWIN will even consider making an offer, but one to have in the stock watch list, i have, :-)
As i said before people have forgotten about these blocks, as they do not know Parkmead like i do, they think it's going to fly in no time, this is a Growth company, if you don't have the patience take your money elsewhere, this is the stock that will out perofrm alot of others over time, it won't be one to fly to £5 then back to £1.40p like GKP, this will build steady over years, TC will drip feed into the markets what he wants them to know, he is a very shrewd guy, people have put their hard earned money here becaues they know he can return what others can't, in the Bank or with TC? lol
Re Baby boomers
French and German baby boomers have already all retired, but their stock markets have gone through the roof at the same time.
Feel you are misleading yourself ref baby boomers retiring in 2010 as most of us have retired already and the only bonus we can look forward to is an £82 a week pension at 65 which wont break Gordons bank it is so pathetic a reward for a lifetime of tax and NI but the point you miss is that all those that called it a day early, stopped paying tax and NI from that moment and that is a huge loss.of 3 brothers born directly after the war in quick sucession, none of us work but for me alone the loss to revenue and NI is over 40K a year and all at 65 I will be offered is £328 a month taxed at 40%.
