You seem to indicate Ferguson might not be good enough to play for Scotland? And yet you sing the praises of Relegation bound Wolves Sustitute player Iwelmo(or whatever his correct spelt name is), Wolves are #$%$, Iwelmo cant get on the team sheet & couldnt hit a barn door from 2 feet!
Barry Ferguson on the other hand is playing every game, is in a top 10 Premier div side & is widely regarded as being reborn as a football player,His performances this season have been superb.
I am not anti SPL, but you have to admit that the standard of players playing there even in Rangers & Celtic are rather poor!
Rangers & Celtic are around the same standard as the Championship sides, that is not a slight, its just the reality, Kris Boyd would not be a target of any top 10 team in England.
players like Ferguson & Mcfadden are playing top class football week after week, they are crucial to Scotlands chances of qualifying for Euro 2012, If Scots cant see that they had better lay off the whiskey!

Whats Our Chances Of Top Two?

As a Blues supporter I hope the Baggies go up this season, I also hope Wolves stay up in the premier div, I would love to see us all doing the double on the Vile next season!

The more local derby's the better, although it would be nice to see the Vile slip down a couple of divisions!...lol

It's hard to sound like a party pooper, but I hope big eck can get in a tall strong & composed striker soon as well as letting a couple of players leave, the squad desperately needs cover quickly in case of injury,to me Roger Johnson has been player of the season so far!

10 unbeaten- what a great recovery from a shaky start!
The referee/linesman prevented us from taking all 3 points against chelsea!

we are 2 players from being a top 6 team(at the end of the season-barring injuries),a fast, tall athletic left back & a tall striker that is clinical!great game last night, for 30 minutes in the first half we played like Brazil!

i retract my words of pessemism over the West Ham match!
Bowyer is outstanding,Jerome gives 100% every match, but we need a better striker to partner Benitez, roll on transfer windpw!-McLeish has moulded the team well & is looking to strengthen in the right areas!

    Yes Private Pike,
a left back is the missing piece of the jigsaw once we get a class striker!
I don't think Alex is going to be daft with money (not being a jock), If he puts all his eggs in one basket he knows the price will go up, he's shrewd & is probably already got his Santa player list done!

not too confident about the West Ham game, Birmingham have a habit of losing when you least expect (or if you are used to them you expect), Hammers are nursing their wounds & will be really up for this, overconfidence could be our undoing!

    I hope I'm wrong!

I don't think this guy is the answer, he is from a mid table slovenian side, he is an average goalscorer,in an average league probably comparable to div 1!
I hope they go for the red bull Austrian guy, he is more proven, playing at a higher level!

Steve, He's been watching him since last year, I hope he buys him, he is unproven at the very top level, but has played well for the National team, I think he has the potential to be a top Premiership player! I watched a couple of video's of his goals, very classy finisher, either foot & head!

By the way its bluenoseirishbrummie, not bluenoseiris, the whole name doesnt fit in, it makes me sound like a brummie called Iris....LOL

maybe I should change to bluenosedave ???

What about that 6ft 7in Marc Janco the Austrian International?

Has Mcleish forgotten about him?- I think he would be a great striking partner for Benitez!- Bit like Crouch, good with either foot & good in the air, he is the player I hope most that we get!

Yea I know that, didnt mean to sound like I was having a go,I wasnt! Fking Priests,Nuns & Monks have ruined thousands of lives in Ireland!
I agree with your views on Bowyer, he deserved a chance,I didnt agree with the people that signed a petition a couple of years ago to keep him out!
If he was racist I would not want him at the club!- I see no sign of this from his time with us!

I respect you have a level head Steve!
we are in good shape as a club, the new owners are starting by going into every nook & cranny of the club & looking how to improve from the grassroots up, very professional so far!

  • I'm not a Portsmouth supporter, but I have been impressed by their supporters over the last few years, all I can say is continue to get behind the team, they have been unlucky in quite a few games, I think you have a decent manager, all it takes is a couple of wins at this point of the season to fly up the table!

  • Last weekend the new Birmingham City board invited supporters groups from all over the globe to St Andrews, Lunch with the Chairman free admission & had talks on the way forward as the fans see it, they listened to suggestions & promised to do this 3 times a year, while also promising to send out a player with signed balls, shirts etc.

The impression our guys (In Ireland) got was superb, it genuinly seems like this guys are going to take it to the next level!

I was sorry to see Karen Brady go as well as the Gold's & O'Sullivan, but it looks like we will be in very good hands!

he lost the match as soon as he got the standing ovation from the Blues Supporters!

Would have been easier for him if we all booed!
