You know mate i know were your coming from and understand perfectly what you are getting at...BUT! I'm one of those people who believe in getting the best. Suarez is a hard one to replace for sure but Bent ain't a quarter as good we can get better i'm sure.

Neither one of us can say that a player will not come to us if we havn't got CL football thats a fact. We don't know which targets the club are looking at. So to totally say any player WILL not join us because we have no CL is very short sighted in my book i'm afraid Jason.

I think at the end of the day we will agree to disagree. You can stick with your bargin bucket signings while i still think we are a big enough club and are moving forward and CAN get better suited players in.

Always nice to talk to a true fan YNWA!!

Yes we know Monaco has money to burn atm. But all i'm saying as i think i've said in other threads on here Jason. The EPL is more high profile Than most any other league and i'd say LIVERPOOL are just slightly better known than Monaco and STILL a draw for players.

As for 40m players who may or may not come to us i have no idea mate. That is up to the powers at Anfield to decide on who they may go after. But although every top player wants to play in the CL. There are only so many clubs in it and only so many clubs that offer the chance to get there...I'm sure LIVERPOOL are just such a club Jason.

I take my pinkies is my brain Jason? Well we still are a big draw but maybe not for the likes of say Cavari but still i feel we can do better than the ones you put mate.

And after Monaco have bought over 100m of tallent without CL and are not garanteed it next season either imho. We could still see a big name come in with that sort of money. Cash is king fella : )

Well that amount only comes to 19.5m they wanted 20m but i've read also they are now wanting 25m. Whether we get him goodness know but i'm not bothered there are loads of other options in that kind of area.

The only one out of that lot i'd take up is Victor Jason the other lot we would be setting our sights way too low. Especially seeing as we are gonna loose the goals from Suarez. And we maynot get the Armenian.

So that in mind we need quality not just a few goals as we need to replace 23 from the want away boy : ) Lets see what we get for Suarez and get a good finisher in as we'll have the money to compete with say 40m+ in our hands. I've got a feeling this will be a good season over all. YNWA! Especially as Golom seems to be ripping the coaching staff apart at manure keep it up : )

Yes hes burning bridges alright Jason there is no doubt about it. And this could come back and bite him in the #$%$. Whether now ho goes or stays will be interesting to see. But i feel hes got one foot out the door even if its in his own head lol.

I've got a feeling if he goes it could be to PSG or even one of the big spending Russian teams. Although i don't think he'd go out there way too cold for him ;/

Or maybe he just might stay with us and eat humble pie and put him on the bench till he learns some maners! And that i don't think is in his nature tbh.

    Aspas, really?

I've seen one or two players going to clubs you wouldn't expect them to go to without CL. Maybe the guy we were after who went to Southampton? Can't remember his name off hand. But what i was trying to say with the Monaco transfers is no CL and they have money. So with the money brought in at least for this transfer window we'd have the dosh.

Suarez won't be replaced as such. Hes that good a player but we've lost other big name strikers in the past Dalglish Fowler Rush. The club willgo on regardless i'm sure.

Yeah i'd read the stuff on the agent. But also the Spanish federation will deal with it on the 30th of this month i've read this is normal over there. But time will tell. Along with the Armenian midfielder if he comes i think it will still prove we are still a draw to players regarlesss of having CL football.

The Aspas deal has nothing to do with LIVERPOOL. Its something to do with the paperwork that has to be done at the end of this month. From what i've read this is normal and LIVERPOOL expect no problems.

As for us not being able to bring the big stars to us because of no CL. I see Monaco havn't done too bad out of no CL LOL. You just need money and thats what the sale of Suarez will give us!!

Just one thing on the 35m to 40m buy out Jason. I think you'll find that this is the amount a team has got to offer to get to talk to him not what LIVERPOOL have to take. If you'd asked me before his ten game ban would i want to see him go...You would have got a great big NO!

Now i couldn't give a rats #$%$ let him go and bring in players to strengthen the team. And with the amount we should get i think we can : )

Unfortunatley people expect new players to just jump in and do the job with no teething problems. They forget we live in the real world lol. I expect alot of movement to and from LIVERPOOL before the start of the season. Skrtel Coats Suarez and maybe Agger if repots are to believed although i doudt and hope he doesn't. Great player. Of course there are more like Downing if the right price comes in along with Carroll. And Shelvey i've heard could go with the right amount of money been offered!!

Hopefully with the money brought in and kitty from the owners we should look a much stronger team. And a full season to drool over our little Brazilian wizard : )

Well its not set in stone how long Sturridge is out for just speculation at the moment. Suarez wants to go then let him. Borini will prove that he is the player BR said he was or it will prove that we should get rid. He won't have a better chance to shine!!

    Replace Suarez with Damiao

    by Loki May 31, 2013 23:49

Well of course if Suarez wants to go and we get loads of cash to spend on players who want to play for us. Its a no brainer imho. We looked an all round better team without him tbf as we were not playing to suite on player. And Sturridge was one who really seemed to blossom.

But i think this story will be one of those that could just run and run.

We'll loose one of the best players in the world today if he does go. But hopefully a load of cash to spend on new players. Lets hope Sturridges injury ain't too bad and he'll be up and ready for the new season!!

Theres no smoke without fire so they say and it just makers me wonder if he bit Ivano to get himself out of playing for us. May sound crazy but the more i think about how silly he was. Just a thought.

So lets look at it again shall we for next season...Moyes gone no hope of getting anyone better thats a fact.

No money to attract players of Bains and fuzzy head...As they will be gone too.

Two games now that the goalie has cost us all three points. But on the flip side and seeing as we have one or two on here wanting BR head to role.

I think a few months ago we would have lost both game and never scored a goal. So although points have been dropped i still feel quite confident that we will get better. Especially with a few more in in the summer transfer window.
