  • Fulham boss Lawrie Sanchez said: "His pace will get him in good situations and there's no doubt about the quality of his finishing." Well Lawrie that's very true, there certainly is no doubt about the quality of his finishing. First prem manager to lose his job, and the best deal ever done by an Albion Chairman?

Am I right in thinking I heard this sung a little bit against Coventry on Saturday?

    I think it's because...

Hartson hasn't really been fit since he arrived, and given a good run will score.

Ellington could be really good if he wanted to be. Lazy and disinterested some him up perfectly at the moment.

Phillips isn't the youngest anymore, but will probably still score a few this season, all strikers have bad patches.

Kanu was a class player used badly. Robson played him up front on his own and lumped the ball at him. Great management. If you think about the amount of chances made for him to score, it's very very few. Before he went to the African Nations he was looking really good in a 4-4-2 with Ellington, and scored a few.

I think Roberts just improved as a player when he moved, he always looked a lot stronger for Wigan than he did for us when he used to go down very easily.

Earnie was quality and Robson wasted him. Was it 14 goals in a struggling team when he often started from the bench in the "Great Escape" season? We would have been relegated months before without his goals.

  • Because we are not very good at coming up with original songs, how about for John Hartson we use Monster by The Automatic and we have “What’s that coming over the hill, is it John Hartson, is it John Hartson”. It’s just a thought, and means we could keep the “Super” chant vacant for a bit, cos it’s not like Bob Taylor left that long ago. We’ll forget we sung it for Kevin Campbell on a few occasions. Then we can forget Kevin Campbell ever played for us.

    Robson Out?

I’m struggling to believe I’m reading any positive comments about Robson at all. We’ve gone backwards and it’s him who’s taken us there. He got lucky last season, and if it wasn’t for Richardson on loan we’d have been down long before the last day. I’m tired of hearing about the “Great Escape” and how we came back from being 8 points adrift. We weren’t 8 points adrift when he took over. We were 17th and a point clear of relegation. We had to escape from the situation he put us in with his crazy tactics and team selection. Then in the close season he didn’t get anyone in to even try to replace Richardson. Curtis Davies apart, what has he signed? All our best players were signed by Megson. And quite how he thinks that Kevin Campbell, Diomansy Kamara and Andy Johnson are worthy of playing in the Premier League is way beyond all comprehension. Robson was one of the worlds best midfield players, yet he puts Andy Johnson into a team to play in the position he filled. He nearly went to Bristol Rovers in the transfer window. What does he think he brings to the team? His substitutions come too late, he is far too negative in his formations and as for fielding weakened teams against the better sides, that’s just an insult to those who pay to watch us. He has to go.
