If/when we stay up this will be the best season in Blues History! The last time we won the league cup there was no European competition!
Next Season I honestly think we have a realistic chance of winning the Europa Cup! The only thing against us is the uncertainty of the finances our owner has,I only hope Carsen Yeung is telling the truth, otherwise we are shagged without even getting a chance!
Arsehole Whinger will be crying into his Bordeaux on Sunday night!
Many Arsenal supporters think they just have to turn up to win!
Remember 1984- Luton town were far more outsiders to win than Blues, but they still beat Arsenal!
We will outsing you & our set pieces will give you nightmares!
Arsenal have a good team, but a very weak defence & goalkeeper, whereas this is our strength (even though Scott Dann is injured), you will be so obsessed with Zigic that his knock ons are the way we will undo you, I expect Big Eck to play 4-5-1 & bring on Martins for a midfield player late on, We have a British core to our Team & our starting eleven will be 80% british/Irish, whereas Arsenal might have 10%, your foreign players dont understand the passion of our cup finals!

I will be there cheering our boys on!
my only worry is the referee - Mike Dean, he is a bit of a prick & has not been consistent over the last couple of years, I would have preferred Howard Webb- he doesnt get influenced by play acting as much as Dean!
If the Referee has a good honest game I am convinced we will win!
Arsene Wenger will not underestimate Blues, he knows he has found us hard to beat in the past, he probably has his players practicing diving for free kicks & penalties as we speak, his players like to con the referee into this idiotic "victim" mentality, whereas in reality players like Song could see red in many of the matches he plays in- Arsenal 6 red cards this season- who are most likely to do the kicking???

I wouldn't bother if I was you!
Just accept we will beat you on set pieces, as long as you dont cheat again or the Ref gives you dodgy decisions when your players dive!
Lee Bowyer & Kevin Philips will score!
2-0 to Blues...-I'll be there!

Well said James G,
I saw Taarabt as well,a class player that is not only technically very good, but full of running & likes to take players on!

I think it was shrewd of the board not to buy Keane,£6million plus, and weekly wage in excess of £65,000 for a guy the wrong side of 30 would have been daft!
He seems to have an over inflated view of his importance,I have watched every Ireland game over the last few years & he has got progressively worse & now spends most his time throwing himself on the ground & giving shite to the referee when he doesn't get a free Kick or Penalty!
By contrast Kevin Doyle & Shane Long have been superb & either would be a far better buy!

Larsson has wanted to leave since we went down to the championship a couple of seasons ago,let him go, Bentley is a far better player & gives us more attacking possibilities!

I agree with a lot of what you both say (even you Vile Mouse)!
But just look at the Main stand, it looks awful & badly needs knocking down, if the club pioneered a new stadium selling system along the lines of Ryanair sales we could fill the place every game, why cant clubs see the potential of full gates for every game? even if it does mean selling seats for £1!
Also results improve when you have a large support, referee's are more likely to give "Home" decisions & fans are more likely to buy beverages & merchandising!
I sincerely hope the Main stand is knocked & Joined seamlessly to the Tilton stand!

I spent the last couple of weeks driving round with England flags hanging off my car (I live in Ireland), at the start I got some very nasty looks from some, two fingers salute etc, but eventually people just pointed & burst into laughter, such was Englands meteoric nose dive in form! The bloody flags are gone now!
The biggest problem I saw was the Manager not having the balls to leave Rooney or Lampard out or even Heskey!
our 4 star players were all playing out of position, Germany are extremely average yet we made them look like Argentina or Brazil!
Terry was put into right sided central defence, Gerrard was out on the bloody wing & Lampard didnt seem to know whether to stay back or go forward with Barry all over the place, as for Rooney, he wasnt fit, shouldnt have played the last 3 games!
What was wrong with Crouch-Defoe Spurs partnership while Rooney should have been getting ready for the knockout rounds?

England played well, deserved the win,the US were very lucky to get a point!
I thought the US might pull off a shock, but England were far better!
Hope Capello has got the balls to drop Green, forget Calamity James & put Joe Hart in, Hart will win us the World Cup on his own!!!

Holland to win, Van Persie top scorer, England to lose against the US tonight, England to go out under controversial circumstances in the Semi's leaving supporters protesting for Video technology to be used!!!
what odds would I get on that for a multiplier bet?

Villa & Man city tried to sign Zigic, but MON was on holidays & Man city said they had to sell Adebeyor first!

I have faith in McLeish!
He has got us the best finish in 51 years! I agree Benitez should have played more games, but lets wait & see what we sign before criticising the man.
I thought Barry Ferguson would be shite!- I was not only wrong I was TERRIBLY wrong!
I think Konchesky would be a great signing if he gets him!
McLeish is certainly shrewd, he nearly landed Cacau from Stuttgart,he was out of the team & would have been a relatively cheap signing for a German International, he has since scored a bagfull of goals & is very hot property & not for sale anymore!

Blues have already rewarded Man City!
By turning a calamity prone Keeper into the best Keeper in Britain!
We may be a smaller team but our Goalkeeper training staff are the best around, Joe Hart has put it on record that he has improved greatly due to his! His first couple of performances for Blues saw him drop clangers, he is the finished article now!
He is a smashing guy & will displace Shay Given from the first team if you give him the chance!(Shay is good, but a bit dodgy on high balls & crosses & can be chipped easily)!
He should also be England's No1 for the world cup!

I am going to be with some Irish Bluenoses on Saturday giving Joe Hart our award as our player of the year before the Burnley game, we are meeting him at 10am, however the word is that Alex McLeish is trying to do a deal which would mean us being guaranteed Hart for another year Loan if we release him back to them for the last 2 matches!
At this point in time there is no news, but I think big eck is a shrewd man and is playing hard ball, it could be worth multi millions to Man City to have Hart for the last 2 games, if they miss out on 4th place because they wont deal with us it will not make their fans too happy!

The only way to address the inequity between clubs in England is for a Europe wide approach, otherwise the Spanish & Italian clubs will still use the same approach!
If all European clubs were restricted in their use of funds it would mean players wages would drop worldwide, the knock on effect would mean clubs would have a more level playing field, the only problem is the bigger clubs would set up academy's all over the world and get the cream of world talent!
also if clubs were audited annually and not allowed to borrow above 50% of the value of their assets it would vastly reduce clubs going into administration and reduce the risk of people lie the Glazers being allowed to buy clubs and simply put the cost of buying back on to the club!

Portsmouth could be our hardest game yet!
They are playing well at the moment, they seem to have a spirit like the old Wimbledon team!- nothing to lose, no pressure!
I would love to see us knock out Villa in the Semi's and overtake the in the league, imagine the bragging rights!
I hope Big Eck puts Benitez back in & plays McFadden wide again but if we win then Who cares!
