  • After being classed as relegation favourites Blackpool have proved all the critics wrong and fought to the top flight.
A superb season topped off with an excellent performance today.
Congratulations Ian Holloway and Blackpool from a Newcastle Fan

I'm a Newcastle Fan and our fanbase is phenomenal but i have to give Plymouth Argyle fans a shout out, they were by far the best visiting fans @ St.James' this season and their treatment of our fans when we went there on April 19th was superb,we condemned their team to relegation and yet they came onto the pitch to congratulate Newcastle fans and players alike, even the D.J played Local Hero and then @ the final whistle We Are The Champions to me that shows that both the the club and the fans deserve so much respect, and i will be following their progress next season-Argyle For Promotion!!!!!!!!!

I've read the board and the usual insults aimed at Newcastle and their fans, but amidst all the name calling and mud slinging what no-one has mentioned is Mike Ashley never wanted Sam as manager and he has said as much,Freddie Shephard installed him when he knew he was selling his shares at the club.Mike Ashley wanted his own manager and backroom staff (there was talk of bringing in K.K back then)but kept Sam on,he wasn't happy with the outcome and the results on the pitch and decided it was time for Sam to go.
I agree Newcastle have been ridiculous with managers over the last 11 years and i'll be honest i think bringing K.K back is a big mistake but that is the boards choice.
I do like the idea of a transfer window for managers .
