Kolten Wong may have saved the game with his flashy glovework. Luis Urías may have saved it with a deft slide into third base past Manny Machado's tag. Devin Williams definitely did save it, closing out a solid performance by the bullpen in the Milwaukee Brewers’ 2-1 victory against the San Diego Padres on Wednesday.
Corbin Burnes outlasted Blake Snell in a showdown of recent Cy Young Award winners and Tyrone Taylor hit a tiebreaking, three-run homer to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat the San Diego Padres 4-1 on Tuesday night. Mike Brosseau also homered for the Brewers, who ended San Diego's winning streak at five.
