The Boston Celtics led by eight points at half-time before the Miami Heat's remarkable 39-14 turnaround.
Jimmy Butler scored 41 points and sparked a third-quarter turnaround in the Miami Heat's 118-107 win over the Boston Celtics on Tuesday.
Boston were missing two starters for Game 1 on Tuesday night with Al Horford entering health and safety protocols and Marcus Smart out with a foot sprain. Derrick White came into the starting five for Ime Udoka but he could not have the same effect as 2022 Defensive Player of the Year, Smart. As a result of the change, sharpshooter Payton Pritchard played 30 minutes off the bench, dropping a solid 18 points - including a few deep three-pointers. Horford's replacement, Grant Williams III, made his first appearance since Game 3 of the Conference semi-finals.
