400 places were allocated, but a package deal costing 340 Euros has priced out the majority of travelling fans. It attracted just 20 requests.

“As a result of the insufficient requests for the official trip for the match, the club has taken the decision to propose a new package for 150 euros,” said PSG in a statement.

The French interior ministry has slapped a travel ban on PSG fans for a fixture that has been plagued by violent incidents.

A fixture in 2009 in Marseille saw 18 arrests and several injuries forcing the government to intervene and ban travelling fans.

A 37-year-old fan died after factions of PSG were involved in trouble in February 2010.
