Clear panel mom jeans, backside zipper jeans, detachable short jeans, and more ridiculous denim trends have emerged recently. And the latest piece to get dragged through the mud on social media comes in the form a dress.

The 2 Jeans Dress from the brand 6397 is a hybrid creation of two pairs of pants sewn together. The piece features an upside-down silhouettes of the jeans — one in a medium wash and one in a dark wash. The pockets are still there, as are the flies and buttons.

According to the product description, it’s “a quirky 6397 dress made from patched-together jeans. The original waistbands are left intact, with the closures forming adjustable slits at the front and back. Adjustable shoulder straps. Unlined.”

The dress, which retails for $445 has been called everything from funky to confusing. “Why does this exist and who is buying it?” Cosmopolitan asks. The Daily Mail called the dress “quirky,” “odd,” and “unwearable.”

The 2 Jeans Dress debuted in December 2016 during 6397’s Pre-Fall 2017 collection. Vogue describes the woman who wears the brand as “a Vans girl in a slub tee who can make boyish jeans look cool as hell.”
