Scotland Women captain Lisa Martin looks ahead to her country's penultimate match at home to France tonight

Scotland skipper Lisa Martin looks ahead to this weekend's action

It's great to back playing on Scottish soil this week against France.

We're looking forward to some fast flowing rugby on the artificial pitch at our home for this Six Nations at Broadwood Stadium in Cumbernauld.

In all three games so far we have made improvements, scoring tries against Wales and Italy away. Once again we will be concentrating on our game and what we can control.

Our forwards have remained settled, with Heather Lockhart, who earned her 80th cap against Italy, the only change as she moves from the bench to the starting post.

Our backs have been shuffled and we’ve got two new faces among the replacements – Lisa Robertson is back from injury and Helen Nelson has been given a chance to earn her first cap.

With our training and captain's run complete, the squad is feeling confident in what we can bring to the table in attack and we're really looking to challenging the French at the set piece.

We're expecting them to come out firing on Friday night, especially off the back of their loss to Wales.

We just need to match and better their physicality, especially at the breakdown.

We know that they'll look to their forwards to set a marker on the game, but we're confident in our abilities to stop any momentum they would be looking to build.

Everyone is excited for the opportunity to keep building on progress made so far and to have the home support behind us for the entire 80 minutes will really spur us on.

There were plenty of positives to be taken from our last match against Italy
