Meghan Markle’s love for Adidas’s classic Stan Smith sneaker is no secret — and neither is her penchant for all things Stella McCartney.
In fact, Markle adores McCartney so much that in 2018, she had the designer create the mock-necked, fit-and-flare reception dress for her wedding to Prince Harry.
And though we have no official confirmation yet, there’s not a doubt in our minds that Markle will be a fan of McCartney’s latest activewear collection in collaboration with Adidas.
Markle has shown a fondness for sustainably-minded brands time and again, and Stella McCartney is no exception - the designer is one of the fashion industry’s long-time champions of environmental issues, never using fur or leather to advocate for earth and animal justice.
Today, McCartney continues to push for positive change by promoting a circular economy, protecting ancient and endangered forests, and using cutting edge technologies to construct alternative materials like the one’s used in her FW20 range.
Since first partnering with the sportswear company in 2004, adidas by Stella McCartney has produced countless running, gym, yoga, tennis, swimming, and cycling items.
This one in particular uses Primeblue - a high-performance recycled material made with Parley Ocean Plastic - and Primegreen - a series of multiple top-level recycled materials - in an effort to reduce both adidas and Stella McCartney’s environmental impact.
Featuring laser-cut ergonomic lines, reflective accents and signature prints, the FW20 drop is everything the active, sporty woman needs right now - from sweatshirts and hoodies, to leggings and warm coats for the cool weather ahead.
