Aberdeen goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov ruled out for six weeks with hamstring injury
Aberdeen goalkeeper Dimitar Mitov has been ruled out for six weeks after suffering a hamstring injury in Sunday's draw with Hearts.
The Bulgaria international was replaced by Ross Doohan at half-time, with the substitute now set to face his former club Celtic in the Dons' next Premiership clash on Wednesday.
Aberdeen confirmed his injury in a statement which read: "We can today provide the following update on Dimitar Mitov. A scan has revealed the goalkeeper has suffered a hamstring injury that will keep him out for up to six weeks. We wish Dimi a speedy recovery."

Mitov has become an ever-present part of Jimmy Thelin's side since joining from St Johnstone in the summer, starting 20 games and keeping seven clean sheets.
His injury comes at a tough time for the Dons, who are winless in three games and face a tough run of festive fixtures, which include the Hoops, St Johnstone, Hibs, Kilmarnock and Dundee United.
They then face Ross County, Motherwell, Hearts and Rangers in January before their Scottish Cup tie with Elgin City in mid-January.
