Afghanistan Cricket Board CEO Hamid Shinwari stated that cricket hasn’t been halted by any means in the country despite the crisis going inside the nation. Afghanistan has been facing some seriously tough times as the Taliban, a militant group inside the country has taken over the whole nation under their control.

The government has collapsed and there were lots of doubts over the participation of Afghanistan in any bilateral series or the big tournaments. They have worked very hard to attain this stature in cricket and they would be looking to keep moving forward in terms of the game’s development in the country.
