Wanderers continue their pre-season preparations with a behind-closed-doors fixture against Stockport County.

The Hatters are preparing for life back in the Football League after clinching the National League title last term.

The match takes place at the Stockport County Training Centre at Carrington (KO 1pm) with no supporters permitted entry.

However, The Bolton News will have coverage of the game across our website and social media pages.

The match will also be recorded and streamed on Stockport’s YouTube channel at 5pm, which is free to watch with no subscription required. Highlights will also be available on Wanderers’ channel.

Ian Evatt’s men have made a positive start to pre-season, recording back-to-back wins against Longridge Town and Chorley since returning from a training camp in Portugal.

The Whites also have fixtures against Watford, Carlisle and Huddersfield coming up before the new season gets underway with a trip to Ipswich on Saturday, July 30.

Meanwhile, the newly-launched B Team take on Atherton Colls, Bamber Bridge, Southport and Warrington in the coming weeks.

The team has been launched in an attempt to bridge the gap between youth and first-team football and will be managed by Matt Craddock with assistance from Andrew Tutte.

Several new players have already been signed for the B Team while the likes of Adam Senior, Finlay Lockett and Luke Hutchinson also set to be involved after signing new deals.
