Adam Idah Celtic winner vs Rangers catches steward slipping as celebration spotted by eagle-eyed fans

Celtic won the Scottish Cup in the final minute of normal time when Adam Idah stepped up to score against Rangers.

It was a moment of relief and delirium for the supporters in the Hoops end of Hampden as they celebrated wildly after their Irish loanee had hit arguably the biggest goal of his career. It wasn't just those in attendance in the stands who enjoyed the moment, though, as eagle-eyed supporters pointed out after the game had ended yesterday afternoon.

As Idah's finish nestles into the back of Jack Butland's net, one social media user pointed out that a Hampden steward had been caught on the BBC cameras jumping for joy with hands in the air to join the punters in mass applause.

It was a blink and you'll miss it moment as the steward jumps up and down before seemingly remembering the job they're doing. It then looks as though they let out another sly fist pump in the direction of their fellow fans.

Celtic fans lapped it up on X as they were clear to pinpoint the moment the steward was caught slipping, even just for a second.

We wonder if the man or woman in question finished their shift and headed straight into the city centre to join the celebrations.
