Adam Idah quizzed on Celtic transfer future immediately after firing Hoops to Scottish Cup glory

Adam Idah was coy on his Celtic future immediately after firing them to Scottish Cup glory.

The Irishman was the late hero for the Hoops, as he has been on many occasions, but this time it was to land silverware after he downed Rangers at the death of today's final. It looked to be heading to extra-time until the Irish frontman pounced to slam home after Jack Butland's poor parry.

That sparked more celebrations after the final whistle after last week's Scottish Premiership title parties. But on-loan Idah was still put on the spot in a post-match interview after weeks of debate about what the future may hold for him this summer.

Asked on Premier Sports if he'll be back next season, he laughed: "I don't know. Look, I'm still contracted with Norwich. Football is a tricky situation. I'm going to go back in the summer, have my time off and who knows what's going to happen."

He was then asked if he wanted to be and added: "It's a great club. I love the club, I've always supported the club. So who knows.

"You're not going to get this support and this fan base at many other clubs. To get a turn out like this, and even after we won the league we came back at half 11 and there was thousands of fans there. It's unbelievable to play for a club like this."
