Bengals quarterback Burrow played a starring role in Sunday's resounding 27-10 win over the Buffalo Bills in heavy snow in upstate New York. 'Joe Cool' threw for 242 yards and two touchdowns as head coach Zac Taylor's side extended their win streak to 10 with a powerful performance. The Bengals defense also kept Buffalo quarterback Josh Allen under wraps, with the NFL's all-time postseason leader in averaging combined yards per game failing to break 300 on Sunday, being held to just 26 yards rushing and 265 yards passing. The Bengals' win set up a rematch with Chiefs star Patrick Mahomes in Arrowhead Stadium, with the home quarterback set to play despite struggling with a high ankle strain. Burrow led the Bengals to a 27-24 victory last time around, and only just missed out on Super Bowl glory, losing 23-20 to the LA Rams in a heartbreaking climax to the showpiece. The Cincinnati star is full of confidence ahead of Sunday's showdown, though, saying: "I think we're a more complete team. I think we're a better team. "We just seem to make plays when it counts. That's all there is to say. "I think our O line is better. I think our run game is better. I think our defense is better. I think our special teams is better. We're just overall a much better team than we were last year." Bengals head coach Taylor is also in bullish mood and said: "We're built for this. It doesn't matter what anybody thinks about us. We don't care who's favored, who's not. We're built for this. "It's just these moments. Our whole team. You just look at the leadership in every position".
Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid says Mahomes will be 'good to go' come Sunday, adding: "He has worked hard in the treatment and is doing okay. He told you guys. He mentioned to you that he's going to play. That's his mindset. "I'll have to see how he feels as we get ready for practice. We'll just take it day by day and see how he does."
