Niger Tornadoes midfielder, Chidiebere Ajoku has confirmed his latest move to Wikki Tourist and he is hoping to make a positive impact with the Elephants.
Ajoku scored four goals this term for Tornadoes, but he has revealed that Wikki Tourist have always been knocking at his door and he has decided to make a switch to help the northern club in the second round of the 2016/17 Nigeria Professional Football League season.
"I am very happy to have made this move. It wasn't that I wasn't doing well at Niger Tornadoes but change is constant . I've had this invite from Wikki Tourist for a while but I think it's the right time and it's all good that I made the move," Ajoku told Goal.
"It will be a new challenge for me but I am always prepared for a new adventure. I will miss the entire Niger Tornadoes family, my team mates and especially my coach Abubakar Bala who is more than just a coach, he is a friend and a father.
Meanwhile Ajoku has ignored talks about the position his new club are in the league table compared to the position his former are on the league table.
"The position Wikki Tourist is on the league table doesn't really matter. What counts most is the will to make impact and I hope to do that here at Wikki Tourist," he added.
"I strongly believe that I am going to Wikki Tourist to make a positive impact and I challenge you to observe when the second round starts. You will see that Wikki Tourist will not only leave that position but they will challenge for a top place."
