Akwa United in pole position to sign Olorunleke

The Promise Keepers coach has revealed they are on the brink of signing the former Owena Whales shot-stopper

Akwa United gaffer, Abdu Maikaba has confirmed that goalkeeper Ojo Olorunleke's move to the Uyo outfit is almost done.

The Promise Keeper tactician acknowledge the former Junior international excellent form in the first round of the league.

"Olorunleke's move to Akwa United is almost done, we just waiting for his clearance from the League Management Company," Maikaba told Goal.

"We settled for Olorunleke because we noticed that he was the best in the first round of the league and he was consistent.

"He has left Uyo but will be back on Monday which means we may sort his move by Monday or Tuesday .

"We are glad to have him and based on what he has done in the first round this season, we know that he will bring a lot to the team."
