Aldi's New Irish Cream Liqueur Is Basically Liquid Nutella

Be still our beating hearts. Aldi has revealed a brand new liqueur and it 's basically liquid Nutella. Liquid. Nutella.

Ballycastle Hazelnut Chocolate Cream Liqueur has rich notes of chocolate and toasted hazelnuts, and Aldi says that it's designed to be an "alcoholic twist on the much-loved popular Italian spreads, Nutella and Nutoka."

PLUS it's only £7.49. That's less than a tenner for a whole world of chocolatey, boozy deliciousness.

Aldi says the new liqueur flavour would taste ace neat on ice (basically like a non-Christmassy Baileys) or in an indulgent cocktail. We're thinking a Nutella White Russian, a Nutella Martini or some kind of chocolate hazelnut hard shake.

The Ballycastle Irish Cream Liqueur range includes some absolute bangers of flavours, including Red Velvet and Raspberry Ripple.

If you're not a fan of the creamy stuff, then there have been loads of cool new spirit and cocktail launches at Aldi to keep your eyes out for.

Their first ever Japanese Gin launched this month, as well as a whole range of 99p canned cocktails perfect for picnic season. Not to mention their all-new Limoncello, which just screams summer spritz to us.

In non-alcoholic news, their famous no-booze fizz range now includes a rosé bottle that's perfect for creating summery drinks. Low ABV sundowner sangria, anyone?

And last but not least, there's some lovely new teas on sale right now that taste like all your favourite biscuits. You're welcome.
