Fulham have booked their place in the Carabao Cup third round after beating Ipswich Town.

Aleksandar Mitrovic scored his 50th goal for the club as Scott Parker's side navigated through a potentially tricky tie away to League One opposition.

Kenny Tete, one of four Fulham debutants, provided the cross for the Serbian on 38 minutes, heading home to score the only goal of the game.

Ipswich goalkeeper David Cornell denied him a second either side of half-time, also producing a fine save on the hour to deny Bobby Decordova-Reid.

Fulham will meet Sheffield Wednesday in the next round. West Brom meanwhile saw off League Two opposition in Harrogate Town.

Rekeem Harper and Hal Robson-Kanu each scored a stunner inside 22 minutes with Callum Robinson tapping home a third 13 minutes from time.
