Alexis Davis Faces Sara McMann at The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale

Invicta Champ Yana Kunitskaya to Make UFC Debut Opposite Sara McMann

A women's bantamweight bout between former title contenders Alexis Davis and Sara McMann has been added to the December 3 The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale fight card. The news was first reported by ESPN.

Davis (17-6) is coming off of a submission win over Sarah Kaufman at UFC 186 in April 2015. The bout with McMann will be her first fight in 2016. Following the win over Kaufman, Davis took time off due to being pregnant. She gave birth to a son earlier this year and is ready to return to the Octagon.

Her lone UFC loss came at UFC 175 to Ronda Rousey. A win over seventh-ranked McMann would put her right back into title contention.

McMann (9-3) is coming off of a unanimous decision win over Jessica Eye in May. The Olympic wrestling silver medalist hopes to add another win to her resume when she faces Davis. Her three losses in the UFC have been to the three ladies that have held the title: Rousey, Miesha Tate and Amanda Nunes.

The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale takes place at the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The event is headlined by a flyweight title fight between champion Demetrious Johnson and the winner of the reality series.
