Alexis Mac Allister will meet up with his new Albion boss on a high from international action.

The midfielder played the first 72 minutes of Argentina’s 3-0 friendly win over Jamaica in New Jersey.

Victory was rubber-stamped by two late Leo Messi goal as he came off the bench.

Argentina have now gone 35 games undefeated.

Mac Allister has not tasted defeat in any of his seven senior appearances for his country.

He is expected to be named in the final squad to play in Qatar in November.

Steven Alzate, currently on loan at Standard Liege, played the first half for Colombia against Mexico in Santa Clara, California.
