Alexis Mac Allister reveals what he 'loves' about Arne Slot tweak at Liverpool
Alexis Mac Allister said he 'loves' Arne Slot's tactical approach to football and admitted he is enjoying just how much of the ball he is seeing due to the Dutchman's possession-based approach.
Slot has added an element of control to the Reds' game after the heavy metal football that previous manager Jurgen Klopp favored, and the Reds have enjoyed an excellent start to the season as a result, winning seven of their eight matches in all competitions.
Liverpool won its opening games in the EFL Cup and the Champions League and also sits at the top of the Premier League after picking up 15 points from its opening six games in the division.

Four talking points from Liverpool's gritty win at Molineux as Reds go top of the league
There are plenty of similarities between Klopp's style of play and Slot's style of play - as the Reds' new manager has been quick to point out on several occasions since the season begun - but the tweak Slot has made in focussing on ball retention has gone down well with Mac Allister.
Asked how far away Liverpool is from reaching its peak under Slot, Mac Allister told Premier League Productions: "I think the team knows what the manager wants already, but as I said it's not that easy, you have good days, bad days. Today wasn't our best but I think the team is getting used to his ideas, personally I love his ideas. I get on the ball so much that I really like this, so we will try to go in the same way, but of course trying to improve those things."
Liverpool made hard work of claiming all three points against Wolves on Saturday, requiring a Mohamed Salah penalty to get over the line at Molineux after Rayan Ait-Nouri scored for the hosts to cancel out Ibrahima Konate's first-half opener.
Salah scored just minutes after Ait-Nouri's equaliser and Mac Allister recognised how important it was to bounce back from the leveller so quickly.
"It was very important to score the goal that soon to be honest," Mac Allister added. "When you concede a goal and you're playing away, you can see the fans and feel the fans, but with that penalty I think we got more confidence and played better. It's early in the season, we are not thinking about where we are. We just want to improve and know that we can improve, and that's what we will do. We will work very hard to get better and now we will work hard to recover because we have a very important game in the week (against Bologna in the Champions League)."
