Alisson Becker delivers best possible message to Liverpool with '100 per cent' Arne Slot verdict
Liverpool goalkeeper Alisson Becker has opened up on how committed he is to playing for the Reds, outlining his impressions so far of new head coach Arne Slot.
Speaking to the BBC, Alisson has explained that training sessions now bring him and the outfield players together more often because Slot wants his shot-stoppers to be central to the build-up play. And the Dutchman has made some positive steps so far since taking over from Jurgen Klopp in the summer.
"We were great before but Arne is bringing to us a new energy and knowledge," Alisson said. "He is a really smart manager and he is helping us a lot. You can see from how we are playing now.

"We are committed to the plan and can see it is a good plan. We still have a lot to improve but we are in the right direction. We have a big gap to reach for our best but we are doing well so far."
Liverpool has won six of Slot's first seven matches in charge, losing to Nottingham Forest at Anfield. And Alisson is keen to carry on being a part of his set-up despite the Reds snapping up Giorgi Mamardashvili from Valencia in the last window ahead of 2025.
"I am committed to this club 100 per cent and that involves being part of the leadership group," Alisson, who turned down a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer, continued.
"We have a lot of young players, new players coming in, a completely new staff. When we changed, not everything was going wrong. The challenge for us was to keep the good things, pass these things to the staff and the players coming in, and embrace the good stuff that the new staff are bringing.
"It was a big challenge for this leadership group and I really believe we are doing quite well. We are sharing the responsibility and telling the young players they need to step up as well. This club is special and the people who work here are special."
Liverpool.com says: It is great news that Alisson wants to stay at Anfield and isn't thinking about leaving. The Brazilian is among the very best to have played the game and he is the best in the world right now. He should be back from injury against Wolves tomorrow.
