Alisson Becker sends two-word message after promising injury update before Liverpool vs Man City
Alisson Becker has provided another injury hint ahead of Liverpool's clash against Manchester City in the Premier League. Sunday will see the Reds host City at Anfield in the top-of-the-table clash with an eight-point advantage in their favour.
Both Liverpool and City go into the game dealing with several injury concerns. Wednesday night saw Ibrahima Konate suffer an injury during the Reds' win over Real Madrid in the Champions League, and he is not the only player on the sidelines for Arne Slot's team.
October 5 was the last time that Alisson featured for Liverpool, where he suffered a hamstring injury in the win over Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park. Ever since, the Brazilian has been stepping up his return from the injury and recently returned to training.

Alisson remains a doubt for the game against City, with Caoimhin Kelleher expected to start at Anfield. With the clash against Pep Guardiola's side on the horizon, Alisson has posted a message on social media.
On Friday night, Alisson posted a photo of himself on his Instagram story, holding a drink with his guitar in the background. The 32-year-old included the caption, "Relax time" with the post.
The post comes after Alisson provided an update on his recovery from the injury as he nears a return to the Liverpool matchday squad. The Brazilian went on to reveal the true severity of the injury, which has led to him being on the sidelines for almost two months.
"My recovery is going very well," Alisson told OneFootball. "It's been seven weeks since the day of the injury.
"It was a tendon injury in the hamstring, so whenever it involves a tendon it is something more delicate and, since I had an injury a few days before, a couple of weeks before, it requires even greater care and longer recovery time. So everything is going very well, as planned."
