The Frenchman made the decision after a training session in Tignes this week proved to him and his team staff he is not yet ready to get his 2012-13 campaign up and running yet.

Grange is instead aiming to return to competitive action at his home World Cup events in Val d'Isere on December 9.

Meanwhile, compatriot Steve Missillier is set to undergo an MRI scan to determine when he will be fit enough to return to the slopes.
