The forward became the second arrival of the January transfer window at Ibrox as he put pen-to-paper on a switch earlier this week.
Diallo will make his debut for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side when the champions face Ross County tomorrow afternoon.
Rangers hold a four point lead over Celtic in the Premiership title race and will make the trip to Parkhead next Wednesday for a hugely significant Old Firm clash.
Diallo is expected to play a starring role in the second half of the season and the Ivorian international - who made a £37million move to Old Trafford last January - has no doubt he is in the right place to take the next steps in his career.
Diallo told RangersTV: "I chose this club as I think it is the ideal club for my progression.
"I reflected on it a lot as I had lots of offers but I chose Rangers as I think it is very similar to the Premier League and the atmosphere is also similar.
"I think for my progression it is the ideal destination. It is good to come to a club which wins trophies every year like Rangers.
"Everyone knows out is a club that wins a lot and I think it’s god for me to compete at this level.
"I think I made the right decisions to come here. I can bring lots of things to the team – liveliness, speed and also attacking flair in terms of an attacking threat to the opposition.
"I don’t know a lot as it’s is my first experience of Scotland but I don’t think I made a mistake. I have made the right decision and I want to get started.
"It would be good to win trophies but to win them we all need to remain focused.
"I have come here to bring something to the team and I hope my involvement will go well."
