With few opportunities to leave the house these days, Amanda Holden has ensured she’s making the most of the opportunities she’s getting to dress up.
In a post on Instagram shared with her 1.6 million fans, the TV star, 49, wowed in a black, sheer, sparkling gown.
Captioning the image – in which the mother-of-two poses in a lift – she wrote: “Going up!!!”
The midi-dress, which she paired with a sleek hairstyle and strappy, nude heels, is by the designer Temperley London.
Holden’s followers were delighted by the ensemble – which appears to be for a TV appearance – and left more than 49,000 ‘likes’.
Her Britain’s Got Talent co-star Alesha Dixon, wrote: “Love this honey!”
TV presenter Kate Thornton commented: “That dress is a keeper! Love it.”
Girls Aloud’s Kimberley Walsh shared: “Gorgeous.”
Another follower added: “Oh Mand – that’s the most beautiful.”
It comes as Holden revealed earlier this week that she was “grateful” to be able to continue filming during the second lockdown in England.
Captioning another Instagram photo of her wearing a similarly glamorous outfit, she explained: “Grateful to be filming and cannot wait for you to be able to watch next year!
“Appreciate being able to continue working with every bit of covid safety you could think of!!!”
Last month, Holden shared how she is instilling body confidence in her teenage daughter Alexa.
Speaking to The Sunday Telegraph’s Stella magazine, the Heart FM radio show host explained how she has banned a common phrase from the family home in order to promote her 14-year-old growing up feeling comfortable in her own skin.
She said: “It's so hard for girls now, and if Lexie ever starts a sentence with, 'Do you think I look f...', I cut her off with, 'Do not even say that word in my house.'"
In the interview, conducted by Piers Morgan’s journalist wife Celia Walden, she added that she eschews diet culture.
Holden – who is also shares eight-year-old daughter Hollie with her record producer husband Chris Hughes – said: “I believe in being able to have that slice of cake.”
The Britain’s Got Talent judge explained that she stays slim by running four times a week and enjoying a healthy vegetarian diet.
In a post on Instagram, she explained that she has regular collagen wave facials to help smooth out her skin.
