Amanda Holden is apparently so besotted with her rabbits that she shelled out a whopping £6,000 on a stunning house for them.

The Britain’s Got Talent judge and her family have two pet bunnies named Princess and Beatrice, and it seems a regular hutch just wasn’t going to cut it.

According to The Sun, the star dug deep and had a playhouse once owned by her two daughters transformed into a plush pad for the rabbits.

The ‘mansion’ apparently comes complete with a lounge area and straw-lined beds for the pampered pets.

Pictures in the publication show a little grey house with windows and a white front door, with a sweet decking area outside.

Another snap shows a grey wicker chair – complete with a cushion featuring Holden’s face on it.

Holden, 49, is known to be an animal lover.

The star has been an ambassador for Battersea Dogs and Cats Home for many years, and in her role there urges the public to adopt rescue animals.

Earlier this year, she told how her own rescue pets, including dog Rudi, had helped her family cope with things during the coronavirus lockdown.

"I'm not sure what our family would have done without our rescue pets while we've been in lockdown,” the TV star told The Sun.

"They cheer us up every day, they give us a routine to focus on when we’re feeling overwhelmed.”

Holden added that the animals made her children laugh “when they’re finding it hard and missing their friends”.
