Undrafted wide receiver Duron Carter, the son of 2013 Pro Football Hall of Fame inductee Cris Carter, will sign with the Minnesota Vikings as a free agent, ESPN reported.
The 6-foot-5, 205-pound Carter would join the team where his father played for 12 years of his 15 years in the NFL.
Also, quarterback Nate Montana, son of Hall of Fame quarterback Joe Montana, has been invited to the San Francisco 49ers upcoming rookie minicamp, the Sacramento Bee reported.
Montana, 23, had a good showing at the team's local pro day earlier this month.
Both Duron Carter and Nate Montana are long shots to make NFL rosters.

The San Diego Chargers expressed interested in bringing back LaDainian Tomlinson as a player this season and inquired about the possibility, he told Yahoo! Sports in an interview.
Tomlinson last played for the Chargers in 2009 and retired from the NFL after two final seasons with the New York Jets.

The Kansas City Chiefs did not pick up a quarterback in the draft, but they signed undrafted quarterback Tyler Bray out of Tennessee, ESPNBoston.com reported.
