Amsterdam Challenge ticket sales update as Hull KR duo launch media tour
Hull KR head coach Willie Peters and player Jack Broadbent are on their way to Amsterdam as promotion of the club's trip to the Netherlands ramps up. The pair will be special guests at the NRCA Stadium on Saturday, the venue which will host Rovers' pre-season friendly with York Knights on Saturday, January 25th.
The pair will be in attendance as the Netherlands host Chile in a rugby union international, which has sold out. Rovers are encouraged by the local interest in next year's fixture, with the game tracking to almost be a sell-out. Peters and Broadbent were all smiles as they prepared to jet for the weekend.
Rovers have stated that they will be taking the club's matchday experience with them when they head overseas next year, with a Craven Streat-style facility to be in place for supporters to enjoy.

"We're hoping we're going to get it close to a sell-out, if not a complete sell-out," CEO Paul Lakin said. "One thing we're particularly pleased about is that the local sales have been pretty good.
"Our foundation team are going out at different periods of time to work within schools. This is something were very serious about and like I say, we see this as an opportunity. We're not saying we'll get players from the area, but we think it's an opportunity to have a matchday experience and take it to Amsterdam.
"It's lock, stock and barrel, we take our matchday experience and plonk it somewhere else. If we can make it financially work, because we have a sponsor supporting us, why wouldn't you? But because we're doing it we want to have an impact on the area. Local sales have been good."
