Anthony Elanga scored his first senior goal for Manchester United after starting at Wolves on the final day of the Premier League season.

Elanga is a product of United's youth academy, and was named in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's starting XI at Molineux as the Red Devils manager picked a heavily rotated lineup with one eye on Wednesday's Europa League Final against Villarreal.

Elanga, 19, made an immediate impact on his first League start for the club, powering home a bullet header off a Dan James cross.

The Sweden Under-19 international made his United debut as a second-half substitute against Leicester City in the League on May 11.

Ahead of the game at Molineux, Solskjaer said of Elanga and fellow youngster Amad Diallo: "It's the first time away from home with fans, they have to deal with that.

"I thought both of them did really well against Leicester, showed courage and confidence to take the ball. It'll be good to see them again."
