Antoine Griezmann has suffered an injury setback which is expected to keep him out of Barcelona's LaLiga run-in.

Griezmann was substituted at half-time of Barca's 1-0 win at Valladolid on Saturday. On Sunday, the club announcement that tests showed Griezmann has a right thigh injury that will keep him sidelined.

The club refused to confirm how long the Frenchman is expected to be out, but reports in Spain suggest he is not expected to fully recover for Barcelona's last two league matches.

It also remains unclear if he will be fit for the team's Champions League game against Napoli in August.

The news will be a blow to coach Quique Setien as Barca attempt to reel in LaLiga leaders Real Madrid, with Ousmane Dembele already on the sidelines with a serious injury.

Barca sit one point behind Real, though Los Blancos have a game in hand against Granada on Monday - and Barca need Los Blancos to drop five points in their three remaining games due to Real's superior head-to-head record this season.
