Antonio Conte tells West Ham and Chelsea fans not to repeat ugly scenes which marred EFL Cup tie

Antonio Conte has urged West Ham and Chelsea supporters to be on their best behaviour tomorrow night.

The two teams are meeting each other in the League at London Stadium and Conte doesn't want a repeat of the ugly scenes which overshadowed their EFL Cup clash at the same venue in October.

There was an altercation between both sets of fans near the end of West Ham's 2-1 victory and after the final whistle, with stewards struggling to keep them apart.

West Ham have assured Chelsea that there will be better segregation in place this time, with Blues' staff satisfied with what has been arranged.

Conte is keen for the fixture to pass by without any incident.

The Chelsea coach said: "Last time wasn't good. Wasn't good.

"I hope in this game our fans, the West Ham fans, totally enjoy the game and find the right atmosphere.

"In England, it's very strange for me to talk about this: usually in every game you find the right atmosphere. The last game against West Ham there was an exception.

"But I hope, on Monday, to find a good atmosphere in the stadium. I think the players, the club, the country deserves this."
