Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira vs. Stefan Struve Set for UFC 190 in Brazil

Heavyweights Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Stefan Struve will meet at UFC 190, officials announced on Tuesday.

The match-up will be part of the growing card, which takes place Aug. 1 at the HSBC Arena in Rio de Janeiro.

Nogueira (34-9-1, 1 NC) will make his first appearance in the Octagon since losing to Roy Nelson in April of 2014. The long layoff was due in part to injuries, but the Brazilian fighter also had a coaching stint on a recent season on “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil.”

Struve (25-7) is looking to get back on the winning track following two straight defeats. Prior to his recent skid, the Dutchman was on a four-fight win streak consisting of nothing but finishes.

UFC 190 is scheduled to be headlined by a women's bantamweight title fight between champion Ronda Rousey and challenger Bethe Correia.
