'Arsene Wenger, we want you to stay!' - Spurs fans mock Arsenal boss ahead of north London derby

Ahead of Sunday's north London derby, Tottenham fans have poked fun at under-fire Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger.

No power shift in north London

The Frenchman has overseen a disappointing 2016-17 campaign which has seen the Gunners' top-four hopes hanging by a thread going into the final games.

Should Arsenal fail to qualify for the Champions League, it will be the first time that they have not done so since Wenger joined in 1996.

Sections of the Arsenal fan base have called for Wenger to be sacked in the summer, while bitter rivals Spurs have basked in the struggles at the Emirates this season.

Ahead of the last ever north London derby at White Hart Lane, Tottenham supporters offered fans the chance to buy scarves with the words 'Arsene Wenger, we want you to stay' printed on them.

Spurs vs Arsenal

Tottenham look set to finish above the Gunners for the first time in Wenger's 21-year stint at Arsenal, and will remain in contention for the Preimer League table should they claim three points on Sunday.

Mauricio Pochettino's side currently sit four points behind league-leaders Chelsea, with five games to play.
