The semi-final ties of the Champions League have been drawn, setting the competition up for an exciting end.
Although exciting, the tournament has shown to be somewhat repetitive, and the pairing of reigning champions Real Madrid with Atletico Madrid has shown its repetitiveness.
The two teams meet in the Champions League for the fourth time in a row, with Real emerging victorious each time - beating them in two finals and a quarter-final.
And many fans are relieved that they will not meet in the final for the third time already, with the other clash between Juventus and Monaco ensuring a good final no matter who progresses.

Good to avoid another Madrid derby final, with same managers and pretty much same tactics/players. Would have been awfully repetitive.

The best attack in Europe (at least statistically) vs the best defence in the world. Monaco vs Juventus is tricky.

i am not disappointed that we are playing against Atletico Madrid it's just boring and unexciting to play against them again and again

I'm calling it now. Fernando Torres will be the hero at Vicente Calderón in the CL semifinal vs Real Madrid.
