'Good football' will help us - Lasisi on Remo Stars' NPFL survival chances

The defender was pleased with his performance for the Sky Blue Stars in the first stanza, but insists they must work hard to better their performance

Saheed Lasisi believes Remo Stars can avoid relegation provided they continue with their brand of 'good football'.

The Sky Blues Stars are 19th in the topflight table and are yet to pick a three points away from home.

"I believe our team play good football in a very difficult league. We have exciting players in our ranks and I believe in them. They have passion for what they do and understand the task that lies ahead of them," Lasisi told Goal.

"We can't afford to be deterred when the second round of the campaign resumes."

"We need to work hard to enjoy the game and pass with confidence because we have a good team and I think in the league we can be better in the table," he added.

"We know the [Enyimba] game is very important. Our team need to believe so we can play good, win and take the three points home."

"We want to have a good second round and keep our NPFL status," he concluded.
