Liverpool would have loved to have been able to call upon the former Southampton man's creativity, as they fell to a 2-1 defeat against Crystal Palace last weekend, and fans have certainly expressed their joy that Lallana appears to be on the verge of a comeback.

Taking to Twitter on Monday, he posted a video

of him walking into the player entrance at the club’s Melwood training facility, accompanied by the caption:

“T minus 6 days and counting: Watford on my mind.”

Some Liverpool fans were less than restrained in their reaction to the news that a key player is set to return at a pivotal point in the season.
