The Manchester derby ended scoreless, but Marouane Fellaini brought some drama to a disappointing spectacle when he saw red for a headbutt on Sergio Aguero.
Manchester United midfielder Fellaini was booked just a minute earlier before referee Martin Atkinson gave him his marching orders for the incident with the City striker.
Fellaini's red card was met with disdain, disillusionment and disappointment by United fans on Twitter, while rival supporters were quick to enjoy his dismissal.
Don't blame Fellaini. This game has been that bad I'm not surprised he wanted to get off early.

Honestly, this should be the end of Fellaini at Man United. He's not good enough to play for the club anyway. Never mind stupidity like that

Fellaini will now miss Sunday's game with Swansea City, but may face longer on the sidelines.
