Wikki Tourists' Victor Alegbe believes a 'united' dressing room has helped them overcome a difficult start to the season.

The Bauchi outfit struggled in the early part of the campaign, but have recorded wins in their last two matches in the Nigeria Professional Football League.

"The commitment, hard work and unity shown have been key for us and the dressing room has always been united," Alegbe told Goal.

"We have worked every day to improve and we must carry on doing that. The players are the first people to want everything to go well but we didn't get off to a good start.

"The team's position was not what we wanted so we met and talked things over. We'll be trying hard to continue the positive momentum."

The Bauchi Elephants will face Lobi Stars in the matchday 26 of the Nigeria topflight on Wednesday.
